Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, all therapy sessions are delivered online. This means you can join from the comfort and privacy of your own space, wherever you are. For nervous system and somatic work, being in a familiar environment can often help the body feel more settled, allowing the process to unfold more gently and naturally. Many women also find it supportive to already be at home afterwards, giving you the space to rest and integrate following the session.
I offer specialist somatic therapy focused on nervous system (polyvagal informed) and trauma processing. My approach is holistic and always with your care and safety in mind.
This includes approaches that support healing from relational trauma, people-pleasing, co-dependency, perfectionism, narcissistic abuse, and toxic relationships (romantic, family, or work).
My work combines:
• Inner child & parts therapy work
• Applied polyvagal theory & nervous system regulation
• Bilateral stimulation & eye movement reprocessing
• Psychological somatics and body-based trauma release
• Boundaries and forward-focused healing
• Healing practices and teachings
• Diagnostic tapping
• Trauma-informed movement, breath, and meditation techniques
This combination allows the mind and body to process and integrate experiences, so healing is felt as well as understood. Between sessions, I provide simple, practical practices to help the work continue in your everyday life, so you’re not just learning in sessions, you’re building lasting tools for your life.
It’s completely natural to feel unsure about where to begin, or whether this support is right for you.
If you’re curious about working together, you’re welcome to book an Exploration Call. This is a gentle space for us to talk about what you’ve been experiencing and what you’re hoping for. Together, we’ll explore the approach that feels safest and most supportive for you, and I’ll guide you, explaining why I feel this might be the best way forward.
If you have tried talking therapy, mindset work and self help, but still feel stuck - this work, I am certain, is right for you.
90-minute sessions give us the time and space your nervous system and body need to truly settle. Relational trauma and childhood patterns live not just in the mind, but in the body, so meaningful processing takes time.
Your first two sessions are usually 90 minutes to create the space to be truly seen, heard, and felt. This allows us to explore what’s been happening in your life, notice the patterns you’ve been carrying, and begin working with them in a way that feels safe and supportive. The longer format helps the work unfold gently, without feeling rushed, and gives me the space to understand the approach that will best support you moving forward.
60-minute sessions are available when we’re checking in, continuing work we’ve already begun, or if a longer session isn’t possible. This way, every session is tailored to your needs in the moment, allowing the work to feel steady, supported, and fully contained.
Weekly sessions are not necessary, unless we are working more intensively, or you wish to have them. Of course, the consistency and number of sessions you choose will influence and support your journey. Some women find weekly sessions helpful, while others prefer fortnightly or more spread out, depending on what feels manageable and supportive.
My work is about creating a sustainable process. Sessions are paired with practical tools and exercises for your own time, so progress continues even when we’re not meeting. Together, we decide the pace that fits your life, your nervous system, and your healing journey.
Each session is guided by what feels most supportive for you in that moment. My work combines relational safety with body-based, somatic practices, allowing the mind and body to process, heal, and integrate.
We might explore how certain memories, thoughts or beliefs show up in your body, practice nervous system regulation, emotional stability, or work with tools like trauma-informed movement, or somatic processing and exercises. Every session is fluid, safely held, and designed to help you feel seen, safe, and held while making real change in your life.
The work doesn’t stop when the session ends, your nervous system and mind continue to process the work.
After each session, I always advise you to go slow and take some time to allow integration to continue to happen. I also provide gentle, practical tools and exercises for you to use in your everyday life. These help you integrate, support your nervous system, and start putting what we explore into practice, so the changes aren’t just understood intellectually, but felt and lived. You’ll have guidance, not just for the session itself, but for how to continue your healing between our meetings.
